Certain representations have been received from the Private Schools that the notices issued on 23-12-2025 relating to not charging late fee for a period of 03 months from the date the fee becomes due. The notices/circulars do not specify what action is to be taken in case the students do not pay the fee even after the expiry of 03 months. They have stated that this position may kindly be clarified. It has been specifically mentioned in the circular dated 23-12-2025 that the parents/ students must deposit the fee on the date it is due to avoid inconvenience to the school. It is clarified that in case the students do not pay the fee after the expiry of 03 months, the schools will be well within their right to recover the fee from the students and, in this behalf, take necessary action. This is to ensure that the Private Schools do not suffer on account of non-payment of tee by the students.
