Handling of Grievances and Issues related to Fee Determination, Fixation, and Regulation of Private Schools.

It has come to the notice of the Fee Fixation and Regulation Committee (FFRC) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) that representations regarding issues and grievances from parents are being considered and processed by offices other than the FFRC J&K. This practice has been observed to create confusion and disrupt the smooth conduct of legitimate assignments handled by FFRC JK. Furthermore, it has been noted that in some cases, multiple authorities are dealing with the same subject that does not fall within their jurisdiction, as per the Act and rules governing fee determination, fixation, and regulation of fees. Such practices are contrary to the procedures outlined by the relevant legislation and regulatory framework. In light of the above, it is hereby ordered that no office other than the FFRC J&K shall entertain any complaint related to determination, fixation, or regulation of fees or violation of Committee Orders. Any such issue or grievance received by any other office should be promptly forwarded to the FFRC J&K for appropriate action under the rules. This order is to be strictly adhered to by all concerned offices and officials to ensure proper and effective management of issues pertaining to fee regulation and to avoid multiplicity of authorities dealing with same subject.
